Jeff Rice
Senior Partner
Jeff joined his father, Archie at Rideau Insurance in 1978. In 1996 he purchased the business along with his brother, Scott and became the Senior Partner. Jeff has donated his time as a coach of various school and community sporting activities over the years. He lives just outside of Westport with his wife Kathy.
Scott Rice
Managing Partner
Scott joined the staff in September of 1995. In October of 1996 he partnered with Jeff Rice to take over the ownership and operation of Rideau Insurance from their father, Archie Rice. Scott lives just outside of Westport in Rideau Lakes Township with his wife, Lisa and their four children, Caleb, Leah, Evan, and Mara. Scott has been an active community member in coaching several local sports teams in basketball, hockey, and softball.
Tim Rice
Partner
Tim came home to Rideau Insurance in September 2008 and got his broker's license in 2009. Tim donates his time to local coaching opportunities. Tim lives outside of Westport with his wife Dana and their growing family.
Karen Seed
Account Manager
Karen is a life long resident of the Westport Rideau Lakes area. She has been with us since 2004, received her broker's license in 2006, and received her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation in 2010. Karen currently resides outside of Portland, Ontario with her husband, Tim and their 2 sons.
Caleb Rice
Account Manager
Caleb joined the team in January of 2021. The son of Scott, he's been around the office most of his life. Caleb received his broker's license in August of 2022. Caleb lives in Kingston with his wife, Abby and their two children.
